Shaggy Chic

The last time you saw this cute lady featured I had just given her beautiful red hair some pizzazz with blonde highlights.

This time she wanted a fun new cut.

She wanted it choppy and flippy and all sorts of fun!

I didn't have to remove much length, but I did add tons of fun choppy layers. I also used a layering technique that will allow her layers to more easily flip out.

One of her main concerns was with her bangs. She did NOT want blunt cut bangs and said she had had lots of trouble finding someone who could make her bangs look slightly choppy and a bit disheveled. Using a few little magic tricks, I was able to give her the look she wanted.

We were both delighted with the look of her new shaggy chic do!

Man, I love my job!

Golden Blonde Beauty

(i told her this was her sexy pose, and that she was going to be famous because she was going to be featured on my web site. she was estatic!)

disclaimer: in this pic it looks like she has a streak of gray on her right side. that's dumb, because she really didn't. weird lighting, maybe? hmmm...

This is one of the most active, happy and positive 75 year olds I have ever met.

She loves being a grandma, but doesn't want to look like a grandma, so the grays are not welcome on her head!

She wanted a blonde color that wasn't too blonde, and she was looking to get away from the brassiness that had started to make it's presence known. But she also wanted her blonde to have a beautiful golden sheen.

We found her perfect shade in Redken Coverfusion 9NGi. 9(medium blonde),N(natural to make sure the color didn't pick up too much red, and to counteract the brassiness),G(to give her that gold color she was desiring),i(irridescant, to give her hair a coat of shimmery gorgeousness).

She was so happy with the result.

yay!
